Mind. Body. Emotions. Relationships. These are key factors in how we live in and experience the world. They are also all directly impacted when we experience trauma or other mental health struggles. In our work together, I take a warm yet direct approach to help you or your child feel safe and supported. As we establish a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship, we will work together to create an individualized treatment plan wherein I will draw on my training in multiple types of therapy (including somatic therapies) to help you achieve the contentment and balance that is often lost when we are struggling with mental health.

I am experienced in treating trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction and LGBT-related issues in both children and adults. Having grown up as a member of the LGBT community in Salt Lake City, Utah, I am passionate about working with people experiencing conflict between their gender or sexuality and religion, including those from a Mormon/LDS background.

I also have extensive experience with psychological assessment, which can be a powerful tool to help clarify diagnosis, guide treatment, and support personal, professional, and educational goals. Whether for you or your child, these evaluations can help us better understand your current functioning, clarify diagnoses, and better understand whether factors such as trauma, mood, anxiety, personality disorders, learning difficulties, or developmental disorders such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorder are impacting your day-to-day life. Recommendations will be provided to help you or your child thrive.
