You Are Not Alone

“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone.”  Lisa Olivera

At LAIMH, we recognize that mental health struggles such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief often make us feel isolated and alone. Thus, at the core of our work with you is a relationship of trust. We understand that this relationship is the foundation upon which we build our work- and understand that life experiences can make it incredibly difficult to trust! Accordingly, we prioritize creating and maintaining an affirming, culturally-competent, and comfortable space throughout our work together.
Only then, can your nervous system feel safe to do the deep, often difficult work to help you shift from survival mode to thriving. With the therapeutic relationship at its core, we integrate many different brain, body, behavioral, and relationship-based interventions to individualize your treatment and provide you evidence-based care focused on your unique needs.
