Psychological Assessment
Whether it be for deeper understanding of oneself, clarification of a diagnosis, or to determine if accommodations in academic or employment settings may be appropriate, comprehensive psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessments can be an incredibly powerful tool. At LAIMH we offer comprehensive assessments for diagnosis (e.g. ADHD, Autism, Learning Disorders) and/or to assess whether accommodations at work or school are appropriate accommodations given one's neurocognitive profile.
While evaluations are personalized, comprehensive assessments include cognitive, social-emotional, executive functioning and other measures to get a comprehensive snapshot of one's neurocognitive profile and help them better understand how their brain works. We then provide feedback to the clients and their parents and schools when appropriate to help them reach their fullest potential.
